Reached into an Agreement for the 27th Term Collective Labor Contract in İsdemir

The collective labor contract negotiations with İsdemir, the only and largest integrated facility in Turkey that can produce long and flat steel at the same time, resulted with an agreement. İsdemir’s 27th Term Collective Labor Contract was signed in Ankara on May 24, 2021.

Negotiations on the 27th Term Collective Labor Contract, which covers 3,000 employees with hourly wages, started in December 2020. The negotiations on the 27th Term Collective Labor Contract between İsdemir and Özçelik-İş Union were resulted at the eighth session held on May 24, 2021.

OYAK General Manager and İsdemir Board Chairman Süleyman Savaş Erdem, OYAK Human Resources Group President Haluk Gümüşderelioğlu, İsdemir Board Member Güliz Kaya and İsdemir General Manager Mesut Keyfli attended the meeting representing İsdemir, while President Yunus Değirmenci, Vice Presidents Bayram Altun, Recep Akyel and Ferhan Öner, Secretary General Hicret Bozoklu, İskenderun Branch Head Mehmet Güngör and Branch Managers attended the meeting representing Özçelik-İş Union.

İsdemir once again demonstrated that it continues to protect its employees and ensures peace in work in the midst of challenging times in the entire world as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. İsdemir will continue to generate value for Turkey with the strength it gets from its employees.
