Having started its production activities in 1970 and being Turkey’s only steel producer that is capable of producing both flat and long products, İsdemir produces hot rolled sheets, plates and long products (billets and coils) at international quality standards.

With its products, İsdemir provides basic input for many sectors including pipe production, shipbuilding, construction and manufacturing, and leads the development of national industry.

İsdemir products are managed within a centralized structure, together with the products of other Group companies, and offered to customers by the staff of OYAK Mining Metallurgy Marketing and Sales Coordination Unit, which is structured on a sectoral basis.

İsdemir conducts its production activities in accordance with ISO 9001, TS EN ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO TS16949 and TS EN ISO 50001 management system standards.
