İsdemir Offers Disinfectant Support to Regional Schools

Turkey's only and largest integrated plant capable of producing long and flat steel at the same time, Isdemir continues to fulfill its responsibilities to İskenderun. On Monday, September 6, İsdemir delivered 9,350 disinfectants to the İskenderun District National Education Directorate to be distributed to regional schools to protect the health of students and teachers who began face-to-face education, and ensure that education is continued under hygienic conditions.

Since the first day of the COVID-19 pandemic that affected the world and our country, Isdemir continues to implement its measures at the highest level. Providing support to the schools in İskenderun for disinfectant, one of the major needs of the pandemic, İsdemir thus meets the hygiene needs of students and teachers who began face-to-face education.

Accordingly, a total of 9,350 disinfectants were delivered to the District National Education Director Kemal Köseoğlu at the ceremony held in Hatay-İskenderun Demirçelik Primary School on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 with the participation of İskenderun District Governor İskender Yönden. Yönden expressed his full support for İsdemir's support to education in every field and thanked the İsdemir's management for their contributions.

İsdemir supports the development of children with the "Hatay Child Traffic Education Park Project.”

As one of OYAK’s Mining Metallurgy companies, İsdemir continues to support the "Hatay Children's Traffic Education Park Project”, which was developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior Directorate General of Provincial Administration. The children's traffic education park was built in Günyazı neighborhood of Antakya with support from Isdemir, and is continuing with full pace to open the park for the education of children.
